Mary A. Stolle

Mary Alice (Williams) Stolle, 98, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died November 1st, at 9:45am in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township, where she had been since October 2000.

She was the widow of Stephen A. Stolle, who died March 5, 1961.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Mary (Fink) Williams.

She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Hyde Park.

Stolle was a 1924 graduate of Reading High School for Girls and a 1932 graduate of Temple University School of Dental Hygiene.

She was a past Worthy Matron and a 50 year member of O.E.S. Norris Penn Chapter #181, Norristown and the Sue Frank, Reading Chapter.

Stolle worked as a dental hygienist for a number of years until her retirement.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Stolle of Tucson, Arizona.

Other survivors include a two sisters, Sara (Williams) Heere of Reading and Mabel (Williams) Hower of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

There are also several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Mark E. Brophy officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery, Hyde Park.
