Marvin S. Miller, 83 formerly of Ontelaunee Township died March 12th in the Green Meadows at Allentown. His wife, Kathryn M. (Young) Miller died November 3, 1999. He was born in West Lawn, PA and was the son of the late Paul Miller, Sr. and Carrie (Bensing) Miller. He was employed as a tool and die maker for Molly Corporation, Temple for 11 years retiring in 1990. Marvin was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of St. John's Gernants United Church of Christ, Leesport. Marvin was a member of the Bernville American Legion. He was a lifetime member of the following: National V.F.W., Perry Township Game Association and the American Legion. He is survived by 2 sons, Dennis M. Miller, Windsor Township, Bradley L. Miller, Windsor Township, 1 daughter, Linda K. Kershner, Wyomissing, 1 brother, Paul Miller, Jr., Washington, D.C. 1 sister, Carmen Gunder, Blairsville, PA. and 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Leesport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Berks County Branch, 237 Court Street, Reading, PA. 19601.
