Marvin J. Neidert, 87, Reading, passed away Nov. 27, 2006, in Reading Hospital. Marvin was the husband of Eleanor (Gehringer) Neidert, who died Sept. 16, 1995.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Leo and Anna (Noll) Neidert.
He worked as an annealer for Brush Wellman, Shoemakersville, for 28 years until his retirement in 1984.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
Marvin was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 28th Infantry Division.
Marvin is survived by a son, Michael J. Neidert, husband of Karen, Sinking Spring; and two daughters, Linda M. (Neidert), wife of Karl Crist, Nashville, Tenn.; and Sandra A. (Neidert), wife of Kim Fillioe, Wyomissing.
Other survivors include a brother, Charles H. Neidert, Reading; and two sisters, Elfena Neidert, Reading; and Elizabeth (Neidert) Ostrowski, Sebring, Fla.
There also are three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. Friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the church.
