Martin Drew Canouse

Martin D. Canouse, 65, of Wyomissing, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 16, 2024. Born in Key West, FL, he was a son of Martha (Starvatow) and the late Harry Canouse.

Marty graduated from Reading High School in 1977 and attended Penn State University. He had made many happy memories playing baseball at George Field in Reading and later playing baseball at Penn State. He worked as a Production Supervisor at Berk Tek and recently retired.

An avid bowhunter, Marty enjoyed a day in the woods spent deer hunting. Marty enjoyed fishing and camping outdoors while growing up with his cousins and family. He treasured watching his sons and nephews play soccer. A sports fan, he was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition to his mother, Martha, Marty is survived by his sons, Jordon Canouse of State College and Jeremy Canouse of Maryland; his brother, Gregory Canouse of Lancaster; three nephews; and a niece. He was predeceased by his father, Harry.
