Martha A. Savidge

Martha A. (Antonelli) Savidge, 90, formerly of Temple, died January 6, 2012, in Highlands Skilled Nursing.

Her husband, Alfred F. Savidge, died September 29, 2011.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Emidio and Olga (Tomassini) Antonelli.

She was a 1939 graduate of St. Paul's High School and attended Albright College and McCann's Business School.

Martha was employed as the secretary to the President for NGK Metals, Muhlenberg Township, retiring in 1979.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

There were seven surviving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Anna Cinelli, Aurora Martorella, Bertha Marrongelle, and one brother, Matthew Antonelli.

Memorial Mass will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery. Burial will be in adjoining cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
