Marta Gonzalez

Marta Gonzalez, 62, passed away March 30, 2018 in her Reading residence.

She was the companion of Felix Romero for 27 years.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Juana (Perez) Gonzalez, Reading and the late Enrique Gonzalez.

She was a devoted member of Second Iglesia Tesalonica, Reading.

Marta enjoyed shopping, going to church and cooking. But most importantly she loved spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her five children, Jacqueline Powers, Carlos Torres, Joan Rosado, Angel Garcia, Alexis Romero.

She is also survived by her four siblings, Rolando Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez, Raymond Gonzalez, Enrique Gonzalez; 13 grandchildren, George, Ernesto, Carlos D., Jermaine, Nazaret, Carlos Jr., Crystal, Carlos A., Steven, Michael, Lexus, Carlos J., and Dimaline; four great grandchildren, Isabella, Jasiah, Elias, and Sparrow; best friend, Isabel Pagan, and her two canine companions, Cutie and Gorda.

Marta was predeceased by her daughter, Wanda I. Gonzalez.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading with burial to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. Edward J.
