Mark Anthony Franklin II, 19, of Wyomissing, died October 30th as a result of a two car, head-on collision on Route 222 in Maidencreek Township.
Born in Riverside, California, he was a son of Terry A. (Downes) Franklin with whom he last resided and Mark Anthony Franklin of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
He was a 2004 graduate of Wilson High School and currently attending Automotive Training Center in Exton, Pa.
Mark was employed as a technician for three months at Jiffy Lube, Sinking Spring, last working Sunday.
He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Spring Township.
Mark is also survived by a sister, Kimberly N. Franklin at home.
Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Betty L. (Downes) Downes of Chestertown, Maryland and his paternal grandparents, Harold L. & Elizabeth M. (Hayes) Franklin of Philadelphia.
Service will be Thursday at 7:00 pm in Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 1110 Snyder Road, West Lawn, Pa 19609. Rev. Scott M. Kramer officiating. Viewing will be in the church Thursday 5:00 pm until time of service. Burial will be Friday at noon in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Pondtown, Maryland. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Real Life Youth Ministries, c/o Glad Tidings Assembly of God at the above address. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
