Marjorie Mae Miller

Marjorie Mae Miller, 81, died February 10th at 12:40 am in her sons residence in Muhlenberg Township.

She was the widow of John H. Miller, who died January 18, 1985.

Born in Laureldale, she was a daughter of the late Earl D. and Emily (Krick) Kramer.

She was a 1941 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Miller worked for 20 years as a purchasing agent at Lucent Technologies, Muhlenberg before retiring in 1980.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Miller was a past president of Telephone Pioneers, Reading.

She is survived by her son, Douglass J. husband of Valerie A. (Doyle) Miller of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include three sisters, Jane (Kramer) Healey of Blandon, Betty (Kramer) Eastburn of Laureldale and Mary (Kramer) Schultz of Millsboro, Delaware.

Miller is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Grant Wickert officiating. Viewing Sunday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Monday 9:30 am until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
