Marjorie M. Izzo

Marjorie M. Izzo, 83, formerly of Reading and Spring Ridge, died May 20, 2012 in Berkshire Commons.

She was the loving wife of Domenic C. Izzo, Sr. They were married December 14, 1953.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Anthony D. and Goldie (Rimby) Gregory.

She was a graduate of Reading High School.

Marjorie was a beautician for Claffy's, Reading until she married her husband.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Marjorie loved to cook and also enjoyed gardening and dancing. She always looked forward to her vacations shared with all of her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Kathleen A., wife of Raymond A. Mazurek, Spring Twp. and Domenic C., Izzo, Jr., M.D., husband of Linda L. Izzo, Wyomissing. There is one brother, Ronald P., husband of Patricia Gregory, Reading. Four grandchildren, Laura Mazurek, Michael Izzo, Daniel Izzo and David Izzo also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery, with interment to follow.
