Marjorie A. Gallagher

Marjorie Ann Gallagher passed away December 6, 2021, at Phoebe Berks, in Wernersville, PA. She was the loving wife of the late James V. Gallagher. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John and Marguerite (Rufe) Hallowell.

She was a 1953 graduate of Reading High School, and attended Drexel University. Marjorie was a lifetime member of the St. Ignatius Parish.

Marjorie was an avid bridge player, lover of Philadelphia sports (especially the Phillies), and was a friend to many, but her greatest love and accomplishment was her three children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Her love will be forever in our hearts and we will always cherish all the joyful memories especially the family dinners and trips to her favorite place, Stone Harbor, NJ.

Marjorie is survived by her three children: Colleen (Gallagher) and Bill Hodnik, Jim and Laureen (Shanahan) Gallagher, and Kelly (Gallagher) and Steve Young; seven grandchildren: Kate, Meaghan, Molly, Shannon, James, Hannah, and Stephen; and three great-grandchildren: Noah, Alma, and Maeve.

The family would like to thank the staff at Phoebe Berks for their loving care and support.
