Marion P. Hessler

Marion P. (Schnoke) Hessler, 91, of Wyomissing, died June 17, 2009 in Reading Hospital.

She was a daughter of the late Irvin and Mable (Schlappig) Schnoke.

Marion was employed as a seamer for 35 years by Berkshire Knitting Mills and later by Vanity Fair Outlet for a number of years until her retirement in 1997.

She was a member of Salem Reformed Church, Bethel.

Marion is survived by her son, Glen L., wife of Erica A. Hessler, Vero Beach, FL; and her step-sister, Mary (Borrell) Stufflet, Reading.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Deborah A. (Hessler) wife of Thomas L. Shugar, Reading; Melissa Lynn Hessler, Reading; Christian John, husband of Suzanne Jossette Hessler and Eric Jacob Hessler, Denver, CO.

Other survivors include three great-grandchildren, Catherine (Shugar)Stewart, Reading; Taryn Melyssa (Shugar) Himmelreich, Reading; Zachary Christian Hessler, Denver, CO; and her great-great-granddaughter, Genivieve Grace Himmelreich, Reading.

Marion was predeceased by her long time companion, Stephen Olsavsky, Reading.

Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
