Marion M. Rapp

Marion M. Rapp, 94, of Laureldale, died September 30 at 12:30 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been admitted a day earlier.

Her husband Theodore A. Rapp, Sr., died June 17, 1990.

Born in Gordon, Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Minnie M. (Miller) Sener.

She was a graduate of Ashland High School.

Marion was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Survivors include two daughters, Carole A. (Rapp) wife of John E. Longenderfer, Orefield and Susan J. (Rapp) wife of Michael DeStasio, Jr., Hamburg. There is also one step-son, Robert D. Rapp, Laureldale, 8 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one step-son Theodore A. Rapp, Jr.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Calvary Lutheran Church, friends may call one hour before at the church. Burial will be Charles Evans Cemetery. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements. www.christfuneralhome.com
