Marion L. Heffner

Marion L. Heffner, 94 of Hamburg died June 12th 2011 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township. She was the widow of George I. Heffner who died January 18th, 2005. Marion was born in Shoemakersville and was the daughter of the late Curtain and Annie (Henn) Heckman. Marion worked as a waitress at the Regal Hotel in Hamburg for many years. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, 3rd and Pine Streets, Hamburg. Marion is survived by one daughter, Marlene J (Heffner) widow of Warren L. Bowers, Hamburg, one son, Kenneth G. husband of Faye Heffner, Morgantown, two grandchildren, Michael and Troy Heffner, and two great grandchildren. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Grave side services will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 11:15 AM in St. John's Cemetery, Pine and Church Streets, Hamburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Church of Christ Memorial Fund at the above address.
