Marion J. Gray

Marion J. Gray, 77, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Reading Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Raymond Gray, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Elizabeth, New Jeresy, Marion was the daughter of the late Amos and Peggy (Smith) Jackson. As a child, she always had a pony on her Christmas wishlist. Marion would graduate to horses, eventually, and her horse won at Monmouth Park and Penn National. A 1965 graduate of Union High School, Marion worked as a sales manager in retail in New Jersey for many years until she and Ray relocated to Pennsylvania. They would return to Wildwood often, as nobody loved the Jersey Shore more than Marion.

Marion is survived by her husband, Ray; brother, Donald Jackson, husband of Ida, of South Plainfield, NJ; and two nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025 at 12:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. The family will recieve friends and relatives from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
