Marion A. Freck

Marion A. (Messer) Freck, 98, of Wyomissing, died February 20, 2008 in Reading Hospital.

Her husband, Russell R. Freck, died in 1976.

Born on June 26, 1909 in Cressona, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Williams) Messer.

She was past president of both the Citizen's Fire Co. Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary, Tamaqua.

Mrs. Freck is survived by her daughter, Charlotte M. (Miller) Freudenberger, Wyomissing. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Marion was predeceased by her sister, Mae Berger.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, with the Rev. Dennis W. Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Cressona Borough Cemetery.
