Mario Bernardini

Mario Bernardini, 94, of East Philadelphia Avenue, Shillington, died Oct. 1 at 2:10 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sept. 21.

His wife, Harriet E. (Sternberg) Bernardini, died in 1988.

Born in Pitiglano, Italy, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Guilia (Rossi) Bernardini.

Bernardini was employed for 50 years as a photographer by Dreh's Photo Co., Reading, retiring in 1980.

He was a 1926 graduate of Reading High School and a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Bernardini was a past president of the Mengel Society of the Reading Public Museum.

Surviving is a sister, Leda (Bernardini) Mazzoli, Hershey.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private in Hershey Cemetery
