Marie Patricia Wang

Marie Patricia Wang, 90, of Wyomissing, formerly of Greenfields, passed away March 1, 2014 at the Highlands of Wyomissing.

She was the wife of Dr. Charles N. Wang, who died December 15, 1986.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Julia M. (Egan) Schaeflein.

Marie was a 1941 graduate of Little Flower High School, Philadelphia.

She was a volunteer tour guide at the Reading Public Museum for 17 years, retiring in 1996.

Marie was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Survivors include three daughters: Patricia M., wife of Stephen Fournier, North Yarmouth, ME., Deborah Wang, Wyomissing and Celeste R., wife of Duke Oakes, Reading, MA.

Other survivors include a granddaughter, Jacqueline, wife of Jamie Willey, and two great-grandchildren: Megan and Gavin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 740 Cherry St, West Reading, PA 19611. A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Ave. West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
