Marie R. Stuber, 80, of Ardmore Avenue, Montrose Manor, died Jan. 5 at 7:38 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient two days.
She was the wife of Francis B. Stuber.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George and Helen (Stengel) Burkhart.
Stuber was a 1941 graduate of St. Peter's High School, Reading.
She was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.
Stuber is also survived by two sons, Richard R., Mertztown, and Randall E., Montrose Manor; and three daughters: Jane B. (Stuber) Baker, Flora City, Fla.; Jill M. (Stuber) Gattone, Montrose Manor; and Judith A. (Stuber) Werley, The Villages, Fla.
Other survivors include a brother, the Rev. John Burkhart, Grosse Pointe Park, Mich.; and a sister, Elizabeth (Burkhart) Schilling, Mount Penn.
There are also four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
