Marie L. Seisler

Marie L. Seisler, 96, formerly of West Lawn, died October 11, 2008 in the Lutheran Home at Topton.

Her husband Leo J. Seisler died May 30, 1948.

Born in Stony Creek Mills, she was the daughter of the late George L., Sr. and Gertrude M. (Levan) Reiniger.

She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 1933. Later, she was an RN working at St. Joseph's Hospital for 20 years, retiring as a head nurse in 1977.

Marie was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol E., wife of Richard W. Meitzler, Kutztown and her granddaughter, Jennifer L. Meitzler, San Francisco.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
