Marie M. Sailer

Marie M. Sailer, 88, a resident of the Highlands at Wyomissing for seven years, formerly of Philadelphia, died April 12 at 5:07 p.m. in the Highlands at Wyomissing Skilled Nursing Unit, where she had resided since Nov. 28.

Her husband, Frank F. Sailer, died Jan. 3, 1995.

Born in Chicago, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Borgner) Montgomery.

Sailer was a 1934 graduate of the Springside School, Philadelphia.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra S. (Sailer) Bockes, West Greenwich, R.I., and Marie S. (Sailer) Altemus, Robesonia.

Other survivors include two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. John's (Hain's) United Church of Christ, Lower Heidelberg Township. Burial will be private in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia
