Marie C. Rohrbach

Marie C. (Schuler) Rohrbach, 88, formerly of Leesport, PA, passed away at Mifflin Center on July 16, 2024.

Born in Reading, Marie was the daughter of the late Francis M. and Cecilia R. (Henry) Schuler. It was here that she grew up alongside her loving brother and two sisters: Francis M. Schuler, husband of Sandi Schuler; Virginia E. Eyrich, wife of Nelson Eyrich; and Anne L. Bentz, widow of Thomas Bentz.

Marie went on to graduate from Central Catholic High School in 1954. Not long after graduating, she went on a blind date with a young man who went on to become her loving husband of 67 years, Robert L. Rohrbach. Marie and Robert were later married and went on to have six children: Deborah M. Rohrbach; the late Sharon M. Blessing; Michael R. Rohrbach, husband of Phyllis Rohrbach; Laurie M. Kutzer, wife of Dennis Kutzer; Marcia M. Douglas, wife of Andrew Douglas; and Michele M. Price, widow of Westley Price.

Marie's children also blessed her with 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She loved all of her family dearly and always looked forward to the precious time spent with them. She will be greatly missed by her family members and all those that knew her.

Marie held various positions over the years, retiring from Emhart Products after ten years of service. In addition to spending time with her loving family, she enjoyed gardening, hosting gatherings, and cheering for her grandchildren at their sporting events.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, 925 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19601 on Monday, July 22, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
