Marie Juliette Plaisir

Marie Juliette (Luma) Plaisir, 54, passed away February 3, 2019, in St. Joseph Hospital.

Born in Croix-Des-Bouquets, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Marceau Lamarie and Manette Pierre Luma.

Marie was employed by the Spring City Veterans Hospital as a nurse.

She was a member of Bethlehem French Seventh Day Adventist Church, Reading.

Marie enjoyed taking her daily walks and singing. She was a kind hearted individual and loved taking care and helping all those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Luma, Sinking Spring. She is also survived by her six siblings, Lionel Luma, Wilner Piere, Claire, wife of Serge Dure, Peguy Lamarre, Guerdy Lamarre and Jimmy Lamarre, step-mother, Adeline Lamarre and adoptive mother, Josette Charlite.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 10, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. in the Bethlehem French Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1240 Cotton St., Reading, PA 19601. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the church. Burial will be on Monday, February 11, at 10 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery . Edward J.
