Marie G. Lynch, 85, of Wyomissing and formerly of Temple, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 14, 2025, at the Reading Hospital. She was the loving wife of Edward W. Lynch for over 64 years.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Doris M. (Eckel) Gibney. After graduating from Reading Catholic HS, she was a secretary at the Former Sunshine Brewing Co. and the Bank of Pennsylvania until her retirement in 1991.

Marie was devoted to her family caring for her three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and traveling with her husband and family, most recently on a cruise to Bermuda in 2018. She will be missed at the card table and during "cocktails and conversation" on Friday nights in C building!
Marie is survived by her children: Dennis, husband of Kathleen Lynch, of Wyomissing; Kathleen, wife of Roger Henry, of Mohnton; and Mary, wife of Dr. Charles Barbera of Wyomissing, grandchildren: Sean Lynch, husband of Emily; Ryan Lynch, husband of Morgan Shires; Megan Lynch; Colin Lynch; Garrett Henry; Phillip Henry, husband of Madison; Cooper Henry; Lucas Barbera; and Dr. Spencer Barbera, great-granddaughter Eliza Marie Lynch, and siblings: Rosemary Ross; Getrude Oliver; Kathleen, wife of Charles Crowell; Edward Gibney, husband of Mary; David Gibney, husband of Mary Ann; Dorothy, wife of Gerry Lawrey; Teresa, wife of Edward Hamilton; and Patricia Gibney.
