Marie A. Lantrip

Marie A. Lantrip, 74, of Reading, died January 1, 2012 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

She was the wife of Jack E. Lantrip, to whom she married on December 21, 1985.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James A. and Marie A. (Roesch) MacNamara.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Robert Charles Acton, Royersford and Eric A. Acton, Reading; one step-son, Kenneth E., husband of Paula Lantrip; and a step-daughter-in-law, Sandra Lantrip. There is one sister, Helen A. Kemple, West Norriton. Two grandchildren, Courtney and Eric Acton; six step-great-grandchildren, Cody, Dylan, E.J., Tyler, Jack and Jessica Lantrip; and one niece Kimberly, wife of Mark Cott, Collegeville also survive her.

She was predeceased by one step-son Mark E. Lantrip.

She loved and will be sorely missed by her dog Jaxon and Eric's dog Ace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 1018 North 8th St., Reading, PA 19604. Burial will be in Limerick Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. with words of remembrance beginning at 9:15 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
