Marie J. Rossi

Marie J. Rossi, 94, of Spring Township, passed away August 17, 2025, peacefully at the Reading Hospital.

Her husband, Francis M. Rossi, died on January 4, 2022.

Born in Birdsboro, she was a daughter of the late Benedetto and Rosina (DiCamillo) Rossi.

Marie was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family; one of the best gifts she gave her children was staying at home to raise them.

Marie was an Italian woman known for her ability to cook for an army, always ensuring her family was well-fed and cared for. She instilled in them the significance of tradition and family values, making sure no one ever left her home hungry. Marie cherished watching game shows and spending quality time with her loved ones, but what her family remembers most is the warmth and joy that filled her house. Her grandchildren will forever hold dear the lessons and love imparted by their beloved "Mom-Mom."

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Rosalind Piper and Assured Assistance for taking very good care of our mother.

She is survived by four children: Francis A., husband of Theresa Rossi, Mohnton, Elisa R. Manley, companion of William Coyaso, Shillington, Catherine R., wife of Robert Francavage, DE, and Patricia A, wife of Edward Liszcz, Wyomissing; her sister, Annabelle Casciano, Wyomissing, and her sister-in-law, Mary Weis, NC. Marie was also survived by five grandchildren: Jennifer, Jillian, Heather, and twins, Kyle and Brittney; and eight great-grandchildren.

Marie was predeceased by two siblings, Antonio Rossi and Victoria Listrani.

A viewing will be Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading., Burial will be Immaculate Conception BVM Cemetery, Birdsboro.
