Marie V. Hosler

Marie V. Hosler, 82 formerly of Hamburg died June 18, 2018. She was the widow of Harry L. Hosler who died October 14, 2005. Marie was born in West Reading and was the daughter of the late Abraham L. and Estella (Himmelberger) Bare. Marie worked as a dishwasher for many years at the Hamburg Diner and last worked as a machine operator at the Dutch Knitting Mill retiring in 2000. Marie was a member of the Union Fire Company # 1 Beneficial and the Hamburg V.F.W. Marie is survived by her step children; Dorothy Hosler, Sturgeon, Lake, MN, Karen (Hosler) Liddick, Deer Lake, Mary, and Kathy Hosler and Harry L. Hosler, JR. all of Pottsville and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services and burial will be private in Sinking Spring Cemetery. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
