Marie Fenelon

Marie Judith Fenelon, 57, passed away on January 18, 2026, at St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was the wife of Pastor Wilkens Fenelon.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of Adrena Medard and the late Nicolas Cangé. Marie moved to the United States with her husband in 2000 and worked as a Nursing Assistant at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

Marie was a pillar of her community, a mentor, and a woman of faith. She served as the First Lady of L'Eglise de Dieu de L'Esperance (God of Hope Church) alongside her husband, Pastor Wilkens. Her unwavering faith and dedication to her church and community were unparalleled, and her loved ones will cherish her wisdom, warmth, and generosity.

Marie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Wilkens, daughters: Merttchyne, Zabeé, Gospelline, and Rebeccael Fenelon; and grandchildren: Sofia, Sabrina, Jabari, and Saniyah.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 9:00 am at Zion Church of God, 4870 Kutztown Rd, Temple, PA 195100, with interment at Laureldale Cemetery to follow. The viewing will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, 19611.
