Marie J. Decusatis

Marie J. (DeAngelo) DeCusatis, 85, West Reading, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015, in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem, PA.

Born on May 29, 1929, in Hazelton, PA, she was the daughter of the late August and Carmella (Marshall) DeAngelo.

She is survived by her husband, Michael A. DeCusatis, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.

Marie was a homemaker her entire life and was a proprietor of Deke's Market in West Reading. Her family was very important to her and she loved being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her passion for food and cooking was loved by all.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael A., husband of Lynann, Wyomissing and David J., husband of Debra, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Four grandchildren, Jennifer M., Sinking Spring, Devon J., wife of Kevin Altman, Athens, GA, Dustin J., husband of Heather, San Diego, CA, Lauren M., Wyomissing, and three great-grandchildren Tyrus, Cali and Adalina also survive her.

Marie was predeceased by her brother, August DeAngelo, Jr.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
