Marie B. Cummings

Marie B. (Galdun) Cummings, 91, of Mount Penn, died April 22, 2010 in the St. Joseph Hospital, Bern Township.

She was the widow of Charles H. Cummings, who died February 17, 1985.

Born in Reading, PA on November 29, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia (Katrinak) Galdun.

She was a member of St. Catharine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.

Marie was employed a number of years as a legal secretary with Atty. Franklin Poore of Reading, retiring in 1983.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Marie was predeceased by nine siblings: Cecilia, Joseph, Helen Schnoke, Emily, Catherine, Frank, Mathias, William and Anna Berckey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in St. Catharine of Siena Church, Exeter Township. A viewing will be held one hour prior to Mass in the Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
