Marie M. Beck

Marie M. Beck, 103, formerly of 155 West Green Street, Reading, died August 16th at 2:50 p.m. in Berks Heim where she had been a patient since May 20, 1992.

Born in Reading, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John and Mary E. (Hartz) Beck.

Beck worked as a cash girl for Pomeroy, Dives and Stewart, Reading, for a number of years until her retirement.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran (German) Church, Reading.

Beck is survived by a nephew William C. Beck of Natrona Heights, Pa., Allegheny County and several great nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing from Noon until time of service. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
