Marie A. Tuzzio

Marie A. Tuzzio, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in West Raeding on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. She was the loving wife of Anthony J. Tuzzio, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, Marie was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna (Lanzillotti) Serafina. She graduated from St. Maria Goretti High School and went on to enjoy a 30-year career as an account manager with Berk-Tek.

Marie retired early to devote her time to helping raise her grandchildren, a role she cherished. Family was always at the center of her life, and she found great joy in bringing everyone together. She was a wonderful cook, and her Sunday family dinners were a treasured tradition. She also loved reading romance novels and looked forward to annual family vacations in Wildwood, New Jersey, where many happy memories were made over the years.

Marie was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church in Shillington.

In addition to her husband, Anthony, she is survived by her daughter, Lori Bizzaro, wife of Ralph, of Reading; five grandchildren: Randy Shirk (Courtney) of Wernersville, Alexa Farley (Gary) of Media, Ryan Bizzaro of Reading, Taylor Bashore (Jordan) of Lebanon, and Anthony Bizzaro (Angela Bermudez) of Reading; and four great-grandchildren: Anthony, Gary, Freya, and Jace. She is also survived by her siblings, John, Patricia, and Anthony Serafina, and several nieces and nephews.

Marie was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Lynn Marie Tuzzio-Guiles, and her sister, Roseann Martin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist RCC, 42 Kerrick Road, Shillington, PA 19607. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Reading.
