Marie A. Pregmon

Marie A. Pregmon, 92, passed away April 2, 2014 in her Wyomissing residence.

Her husband, Michael Pregmon, died December 2, 2010.

Born May 6, 1921, in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Sally J. (Keiza) Vrabbel.

She was a graduate of Duryea High School and East Stroudsburg University.

Marie was a health and physical education teacher for over 51 years. She worked for Duryea High School for 17 years and then the Reading School District for 34 years, retiring from Northeast Middle School in 1993.

She served on the Wyomissing Board of Recreation for many years.

Marie was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
