Marie A. Macnamara

Marie A. MacNamara, 97 of Reading died November 17 in Reading Hospital at 7:35 a.m. where she had been for one day.

She was the wife of the late James A. MacNamara.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Maurice A. and Anna C. (Bolger) Roesch.

MacNamara was employed by Fishman and Tobin, Philadelphia until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

MacNamara is survived by two daughters, Marie (MacNamara) Lantrip, Reading and Helen (MacNamara) Kemple, Sanatoga. There are also 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Lung Association 2121 City Line Road Bethlehem, PA 18017. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
