Marie A. Keltz

Marie A. Keltz, 93, formerly of Laureldale, died December 20, 2016, at Penn St. Health St. Joseph.

Her husband Robert J. Keltz, died March 22, 1986; they were married in May of 1949.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Anna M. (Fink) Schwoyer.

She was a long-time bookkeeper for various local companies until her retirement from Holy Guardian Angels RCC, where she was also a member, in 1987.

Marie enjoyed the casinos, General Hospital, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She cherished her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Veronica A., widow of Robert Crupi, Reading; Robert P., husband of Joanne C. Keltz, West Reading; Mary, widow of Charles Denunzio, Leesport; and Carol Weller, Laureldale. Three grandchildren: Jaime Bernet, Andrea Bernet and Kyle Weller and two great grandchildren, Elenia and Jonathon Bernet-Aponte also survive her.

Marie was predeceased by her son Gregory A. Keltz, in July of 2014, and eight siblings: Florence Dusko, Barbara Stahl, Alice Schwoyer, Helen Schwoyer, Francis Schwoyer, Robert Schwoyer, Lawrence Schwoyer and Ruth Schwoyer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December, 27, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels RCC, 3123 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605, with a visitation held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Guardian Angels Church at the above address.
