Marian Louise Leininger

Marian Louise Leininger, 78, of West Reading died October 30 at 3:42 p.m. in Beverly Manor, Exeter Twp. where she had been since October 11.

Her husband Noah Ellsworth Leininger died January 2, 2001.

Born in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Maud (Eisenhower) Manbeck.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Reading.

Leininger was a graduate of Tamaqua High School.

Survivors include two sons, Rev. Jeffrey N. Leininger and his wife Nancy, Fair Lawn, NJ and Dr. Bruce E. Leininger and his wife Candise, Casper, WY. Other survivors include a sister Dorothy (Manbeck) Lloyd, Willow Street, PA. There are also 4 granddaughters.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Mohn's Memorial Evangelical Congregational Church Cemetery, Spring Twp. Friends may call Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church 37 South 5th Street Reading, PA 19602. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
