Marian L. Snyder

Marian L. Snyder, 86, formerly of North Fourth Street, died April 19 in ManorCare Health Services Inc., West Reading.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd T. Snyder.

Born in Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late John D. and Emma (Warner) Clouser.

Snyder was employed for 10 years as a secretary by the Muhlenberg School District, retiring in 1979.

She was a former vice president of Community General Hospital Auxiliary 18, Reading, and a former director of the Arthritis Foundation of Berks County.

Snyder was a charter member of John A. Hepler Chapter 521, Order of the Eastern Star, Reading.

Snyder is survived by a son, John L., Rochester, N.Y.

There are also two grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Services will be Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Cressona Cemetery, Cressona, Schuylkill County.
