Marian G. Jimerson

Marian G. Jimerson, 89, of Myerstown, died January 3, 2011 in Stonebridge Retirement Community, Myerstown.

Born in Corning, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mabel (Clute) Jimerson.

Marian was a graduate of Mansfield State Teachers College, and Wheaton College, Illinois.

She was a home economics teacher; taught Child Evangelism at Park St. Church, Boston and participated in missionary work in Nigeria, Africa for four years.

Marian was a member of New Beginnings Grace Bible Fellowship, Myerstown.

She is survived by her brother, Dr. Cedric Jimerson, Heritage at Green Hills. Also surviving are her three nephews: David Jimerson Robert Jimerson and his wife Lorna, Douglas Jimerson and their children, Michelle, Rebecca, Katrinia, Amber, Lauren, Kirsten and Madeline.

Marian was predeceased by two brothers, Harry Jimerson and Norman Jimerson.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday January 8, 2011 at New Beginning Grace Brethern Church at 430 E. Lincoln Ave., Meyerstown, PA 17067. Private Graveside Services will be held in Hain's Church Cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
