Marian E. Engle

Marian E. Engle, 95, formerly of Reading, died December 20, 2009 at Country Meadows, Lancaster.

Her husband, Lee Engle, died November 8, 1989.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Harriet (Good) Young.

She was a 1930 graduate of West Reading High School.

Marian worked 33 years for J.C. Ehrlich, retiring in 1996.

She is survived by her four children: Richard F. Engle, Arthur A. Engle, Harriet L. Engle and Carol A. Shank. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave, West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
