Marian E. Boyer

Marian E. Boyer, 74, of Stoudts Ferry Bridge Road, Muhlenberg Township, died Sept. 5 in her son's residence in Saylorsburg, Monroe County.

Her husband, Ralph A. Boyer III, died May 12, 1992.

Born in Valley View, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Gertrude (Hoffman) Koppenhaver.

Boyer was a graduate of Pottsville High School and a 1950 graduate of the Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Muhlenberg Township.

Boyer is survived by a daughter, Dr. Linda C. (Boyer) Whitehead, Wilmington, Del.; and two sons, Rev. Ralph A. IV, Saylorsburg, and Dr. Mark A., Storrs, Conn.

There are also seven grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at noon in Good Shepherd Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
