Marian Dietz

Marian Dietz, 60, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in her Exeter home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Edward A. Dietz, Sr. They married in 2019 but had nine years together.

Born in Germany and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of George and Karoline (Gaugle) Geng. After graduating Cardinal Dougherty High School (Class of 1978), Marion became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked in healthcare for many years, and more recently was a cashier for Home Depot.

Marion was a devoted to her family. She made biweekly visits to her parents' home in Bucks County, where they enjoyed regular trips to the Eagle Diner together. Her favorite pastime was hunting far and wide for antique crystal from Western Germany. She cherished a collection of items on display in two large curio cabinets.

Marion's memory will be treasured by husband, Ed; daughter, Dawn Reese of Lancaster; stepsons, Edward A. Dietz, Jr. of Lebanon and Anthony P. Dietz, currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan; grandchildren: Nicholas, Nadine, and Nevaeh; parents, George and Karoline; brothers, Peter Geng of Bucks County and Mike Geng of Terre Hill; and niece, Isabella Geng.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Gunther Geng.
