Marian C. Lochman

Marian C. (Edwards) Lochman, 78, of Lower Heidelberg Township, passed away June 18, 2018, at Manatawny Manor, Pottstown, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the loving wife of Raymond H. Lochman. They married on April 7, 1962.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Helen M. (Trout) Edwards.

She was a 1958 graduate of Reading High School.

Marian was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family. One of the best gifts she gave her children was staying at home to raise them. Marian adored and spoiled her nine grandchildren and root beer floats for breakfast were not out of the question! She loved Christmas and other family gatherings. She also cared for her beloved dogs Skippy and Mimi. Marian will be missed by all who knew her.

She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed spending time in her yard tending to her flowers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Christine M. (Andrew) Kreuzberger, Spring Township; Sherry L. (Louis) Leslie, Stafford, VA; and Lance R. (Brenda) Lochman, Blandon; and three siblings: Helen M. Moyer, Miriam L. Lerch; and Jack H. Edwards. Nine grandchildren: Matthew, Eric, Nicole, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Dayna, Adam, Brennan, and Cole.

She was predeceased by two sisters: Betty J. Trupp and Ruth D. May.

Services will be Friday, June 22, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 237 Court St., Reading, PA 19601.
