Marian R. Boyd

Marian R. Boyd, 93, of Pershing Boulevard, Cumru Township, died Feb. 27 at 4 p.m. in Reading Hospital. Her husband, Arthur Boyd, died in 1959.

Born in Pine Grove, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late H. Raymond and Stella (Schnoke) Donmoyer.

Boyd was a 1926 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a 1928 graduate of the McCann School of Business, Reading.

Surviving are two daughters, Judith (Boyd) Matz, Shillington, and Dawn (Boyd) Spann, Syracuse, N.Y.; and three sons: Rudyard, Montrose Manor; David, Houston; and Richard T., Shillington.

Other survivors include a brother, Donald Donmoyer, Hemmingway, S.C.; and a sister, June (Donmoyer) Koch, Camp Hill, Cumberland County.

There are also 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
