Maria Stubenrauch

Maria Stubenrauch, 78, died October 21, 2010, in her Spring Township residence.

Her husband, Maximilian A. Stubenrauch, died June 10, 2004.

Born in Neukirchen-Balbini, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Johann and Barbara (Winkler) Ruhland.

She was a member of St Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Maria is survived by four children: Max Stubenrauch, West Lawn, Barbara M. Lightner, wife of Col. Jon Stuttgart, Germany; Anna K., wife of Roberto Soto, Sinking Spring and Christina, wife of Richard Studlack, Spring Township; her sister, Anna Spiessel, Grassersdorf, Germany; her step-brother, Peter Ruhland, Neukirchen-Balbini, Germany; her brother-in-law, Joseph Stubenrauch, Mt. Joy and eight grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St Ignatius Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
