Maria Seaman

Maria C. (Ciotti) Seaman, devoted mother to Kimberly Ciotti, passed away Sunday September 13, 2009 at 6:14 AM in Penn Hospice, Philadelphia, surrounded by her loving family and friends after a courageous battle with complications from diabetes.

Born August 4, 1951 in Reading, PA, she and her daughter most recently resided in Jeffersonville, PA.

She was the daughter of Marie C. (Dell) Ciotti, of Exeter and the late Galdino "Skip" Ciotti.

She is also survived by three sisters, Carol C. Lawlor, Pawleys Island, SC; Rosemary Ciotti, Arlington, VA; and Lisa M. Ciotti, Exeter and three brothers, Joseph A., Gainesville, GA; Michael B., Wesley Chapel, NC; and Anthony L., Delray Beach, FL. She was predeceased by a brother, Patrick.

Maria was a 1969 graduate of Holy Name High School. She was also a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing and the University of Bridgeport.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Inurnment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
