Maria C Peralta

Maria C. Peralta peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, at Reading Hospital.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Maria was the cherished daughter of the late Pablo Reyes and Baudilia Peralta. She devoted her life to her family, raising nine children with love, strength, and unwavering dedication as a full-time homemaker. Her nurturing spirit and quiet resilience were a source of inspiration to all who knew her.

Maria’s legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and the many lives she touched with her warmth and kindness. She is survived by sons: Carlos Antonio Rodriguez Peralta, Fernando Antonio Rodriguez Peralta, Santiago de Jesus Peralta, Roberto Antonio Rodriguez Reyes, Juan Esteban Rodriguez Peralta, Hilario de Jesus Peralta, and Juan Antonio Rodriguez Peralta; daughters, Rosa Albania Pena-Rodriguez and Milagros Altagracia Rodriguez Nunez; sister, Simeon Peralta; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers: Jose Augustin, David Maria, Jose Juaquin, and Donato Antonio; and sisters: Teresa Paulina, Maria Heriberta, and Ofelia.

Maria will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, September 26 and again for one hour before the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Laureldale Cemetery.
