Maria Eugenia Angos De Moya

Maria Eugenia Angos de Moya, 85, passed away in in the early hours of Saturday, February 6, 2021, in the care of Reading Hospital, just ten days after the passing of her beloved husband, Segundo Gerardo Mesias Moya Mullo. Born in Quito, Ecuador, Maria was a daughter of the late Juan Angos and Maria P. Angos.

Maria and Segundo were members of St. Peter the Apostle Church.

A loving but strict mother, Maria was an example to her entire family. She was a hard worker who made sure she could provide a good home to her children. A devoted wife, Maria and Segundo demonstrated how to have a loving marriage every day of their 66 years together. Maria loved the Lord, and she loved her family. A wonderful abuella, Maria treasured her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

Her memory will be forever treasured by her and Segundo's children: Fausto Moya (Amparo de Moya) of Ecuador; Gloria Moya (Mario Vargas) of Ecuador; Gerardo Moya of Reading; and Janneth Moya (Wilfredo Rivera) of Reading; her 15 grandchildren; her 25 great grandchildren; her great great grandchild; and all her beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Raul Moya, who passed in 2012.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 322 S 5th St, Reading, PA 19602, with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19695. A viewing will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560.
