Marguerite Giamo

Marguerite (Pellerite) Giamo, 98, formerly of Wyomissing, died December 2, 2013, in Mifflin Center.

She was the wife of James J. Giamo who died on January 14,1999.

Born in Woodland, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Carmella (Paratore) Pellerite.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

Marguerite was the former treasurer of Wernersville State Hospital Auxiliary from 1956-1961 and Senior Citizens of Reading from 1979-1982.

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Lisa Readinger, Sinking Spring; her sister, Helena, widow of John Kovach, Baltimore, MD; three nephews, Ronald Kovach, Anthony Pellerite, William Seyler, and one niece, Carmella Underkoffer..

Marguerite was predeceased by three brothers, Jacob Pellerite, James Pellerite, and Joseph Pellerite, and two sisters, Jeanette Scianna and Christine Pellerite.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at noon in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J.
