Margherita Caloiero

Margherita Caloiero, 72, died May 4, 2011 in her Laureldale Borough residence.

She was the wife of Guerino Caloiero, whom she married January 2, 1961.

Born in Sersale, Italy on February 8, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Fedele and Maria (Filipelli) Cuda.

She was employed 10 years with her son at Margherita's, Muhlenberg Township.

Margherita is also survived by four children: Giuseppe, husband of Norma Caloiero of Leesport; Mario, husband of Deborah Caloiero of Temple; Salvatore, husband of Mary Caloiero of Sinking Spring and Emiliano Caloiero of Laureldale.

Other survivors include three brothers and four sisters, all of Italy.

There are also nine grandchildren: Massimo, Giuliano, Alexandria, Mario, Biaggio, Dante, Guerino, Anna Margherita and Felicia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in Holy Guardian Angels Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park. A viewing will be held Monday from 8:30 - 9:30 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
