Margaret M. Wixon

Margaret M. (Hedy) Wixon, 78, of Leesport, passed away, Monday, January 9, 2017, in Berks Heim.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Sylvester and Margaret Marie (Gruber) Wixon.

Margaret worked as an LPN in St. Joseph's and Reading Hospitals operating rooms before becoming the accountant for Wixon's Bakery, until her retirement.

She was member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church.

Margaret enjoyed traveling and at one point lived in Ireland. From her time in Ireland, she brought home her precious dog, Bleu, which lead to her adoptions of several more dogs throughout her lifetime.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Anne Webber, VA, and a brother Gerald H. Wixon, Flying Hills. Many nieces and nephews also survive her.

Margaret was predeceased by her brother, Michael J. Wixon.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
