Margaret M. Roberts

Margaret M. Roberts, 85, of Wyomissing died Oct. 30 at 9:30 p.m. at ManorCare Health Services Inc., Spring Township, where she had resided since Nov. 7, 1995.

Her husband, Dr. Paul D. Roberts, died July 18, 1997.

Born in Wyomissing, she was a daughter of the late Raymond J. and Loretto E. (McCullough) Wenger.

Roberts was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She graduated from Wyomissing High School in 1937 and John Wanamaker Institute of Design, Philadelphia.

She served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.

Surviving are two sisters, Helene C. (Wenger) McDonough and Anne M. (Wenger) Mills, both of Wyomissing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
